ECA sophomore Morrison W.S. has placed as a winner in the international 2024 Desmos Studio Math Art Expo. His Desmos design "The Nebulous Terminus" was chosen along with 20 other students in his age category.

In his entry, Morrison wrote, "For a bit more than a year now, I have been making art in Desmos. I have never been much of an artist, but the medium is just so interesting to me.... [Since last year], I have learned a lot and have adopted a more unique and parametric-based style, which I tried to show in this graph."

The Desmos Math Art Contest is open yearly for applicants to showcase their graphing calculator skills, creativity, and love of math. Tens of thousands of applicants from 22 different countries send in submissions every year.
